MAXUM®

MAXUM® is a ceramic-grade sodium feldspar produced from high-purity feldspathic feedstock. As a powerful ceramic flux, MAXUM promotes glassy phase development during firing and contributes alkali content that works with available silica to strengthen and stabilize the finished piece.

For ceramic manufacturers producing traditional whitewares, ceramic ware, enamels and glazes, MAXUM delivers fluxing performance with advantages in fired strength, surface quality and color development. Its low iron content and high reflectance make it a strong choice for ultra-white bodies and bright, vivid colors. In glaze formulations, MAXUM helps regulate melt viscosity to support a smoother, more even surface.
